Well, let me introduce you to mr. Clower, one of my favorites, Knock him out john!

My wife is driving us to see a movie. We just rolled down Jerry Clower Blvd.

I actually saw him perform live in Jackson in 1994. Funny guy.

I grew up in San Antonio and my mom played AM classic country every morning at the breakfast table. Just before the news would come on at the top of the hour the DJs would play a comedy sketch. Frequently it was Mr. Clower.

(This was back in the late 1960s and early 1970s.)

After hearing him I was certain Yazoo City was a fictional place along the lines of Mayberry.

Nope. It's real. So is my Yazooan wife!

Pretty cool town, too!
