New to the forum . I have been wheeling a 4banger for a year now . I had 33s with a aftermarket front bumper and winch . Upgraded mtealcoak fenders . Was way to much weight for a 4cylinder . I was gonna do a engine swap but was not worth the money. Today was the day I finally bought one! Never been so excited for this build! Picture of the new 6cylinder!

What are your build plans for this one?

Congrats! Mine is 4 cyl.

It doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would, coming from a peppy Acura I thought it would drive me nuts, but I have since realized that I get my speed/torque fix from my bike, and keep it slow on my tj.

I did enjoy my 4 cyl in the woods , with the 4.10 gears it was great but when I drive up to Vermont the hills would really bog me down.

CONGRATULATIONS on the new to you TJ.
Since you are located in Rhode Island where salt is used liberally during the winter; you did do a thorough inspection of the frame rails and tub before your purchase ?

Looking to keep it simple and clean but I good rig offroad . New bumper , winch , metal cloak armor all around . I would like 35s but that would be later on in the build .
Did you say keep it simple, and 35's

That may sound like a bit of an oxymoron 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Welcome to the forum. 👍
