NSG370 issue in 6th gear

Has anyone ever came across an issue not physically being able to get into 6th gear on the NSG370 transmission? I have ensured I’m attempting 6th gear and not reverse.

When I attempt to force it in 6th and slowly release the clutch it just grinds.

The previous owner swapped the transmission fluid with Valvoline with no luck. I have Redline MTL that I’ll be throwing in but thought I’d look for any other suggestions on this forum.

I have no issues with any other gears.

You have one of two issues. Either there is something preventing the shifter from completely engaging 6th gear, body lift/tummy tuck interference, or you have an internal trans issue such as a bad synchro or gear.
try removing the center console and verify that you can engage 6th gear without hitting the tub.

I appreciate the information! There is no interference with the shifter between 6th and the console. Sadly, I’ve been leaning towards an internal issue as well.

I’ve been debating wether to pull the trigger on a replacement from High Gear Impact or just tossing it out and swapping an AX-15 instead if my 6th gear is shot.
