Swapping Poison Spyder to Savvy Sliders

I'm assuming all the mock up and complete fitment & installation of the aluminum backer is done, then removed for the coating of choice so I'm not beating the snot out of a newly coated part.
You got it! I had mine on and off multiple times before I was happy with the fit and alignment.

Took some looking but I found the Blair 3-pack at Eastwood. Shipping these days.. sheesh.. $18 USPS

Waiting on the sliders and the rotobroach but the rivnut fasteners showed up.

Taiwan, not CCP.. at least for awhile.

I feel like the JCR's were close but I always thought they could be better. Some features on them I didn't like.

The Savvy came in stock finally so I went with it. Thanks for the info.
They are close...but still a MILE off from Savvy. I went through great pain to get my mounted as well as savvy when I installed my JCR's on a new tub. Lots of work, but I'm happy with the result. I probably should have sold them and just bought the savvy's.

The number of nutserts I added to the torque box to get rid of their stupid through bolts

Had to add quite a bit of material to the underplate to get them to sit even with the doors

Doubled the number of fasteners that hold them to the vertical side of the tub

And my fasteners to the torque box (I know...I need to replace them with flat heads).

I feel VERY confident in these sliders now. They took quite a bit of work to get here, but I'm pretty sure I can use them as real sliders now, without damaging my tub.

Those mods are WAY of of my league.

Looks great! The through bolts are a really silly design and looking back I should have done nutserts instead of drilling the floor. I like the other improvements you made.

In the end the time I have avaliable to make those and the changes the I wanted to make wasn't there so I decided to pick up some savvy sliders.
