No, but I do keep a pair of leather work gloves under the flashlight on the floor next to the driver's seat.
I've been known to wear them while driving when the temps fall below freezing. Does that make them driving gloves?
I know exactly what you mean, I'm getting ready to part with my 06LJ in the near future.
It's been my daily since day one and I've been mulling this over for a long while now. Health issues are a concern now, so my priorities have changed. It'll be a good lj for the right person, and I'm going to miss it alot.

Nah, that's a dream who's day has come and gone. When I was in Thailand in the Air Force, I had planned to take my R&R there, but they shut the war down and sent me home early...bastards!

I get it. My '04 LJ was my DD for a dozen years from when it was new. Finally had to realize I couldn't depend on it as an only means of transportation and had to replace it for DD duties. I still have it, though and don't hesitate to take it on moderately long trips. I don't think I'll ever sell it.
This is the longest goodbye I've seen since the Kardashians said they were leaving the E! network. Now they're back on Hulu. You'll be back after you tear up that new truck offroad.

Maybe an unpopular opinion but I have no interest DD a TJ, or any wrangler really. I love feeling of driving it on certain occasions and for certain purposes but it would totally take away those feelings if I drove it as a daily. Even the newer wranglers, they drive better, but no where near what I would consider "good".
I have no interest in DD my Tesla.
I think we should always tell people not to let the half doors hit them on the way out...
OR just leave the half doors behind for the rest of us...

I've never understood this attitude. I have a 1998 Coachmen Starflyte motorhome with a Ford Triton V10 engine; we drove it from San Clemente CA to Chapel Hill NC in June - 2552 miles - with our four rescue cats in tote. Sure - I spent ~6 weeks getting it ship-shape, but it made it w/o using a drop of oil or as much as hiccupping the entire trip. My 2004 Jeep Wrangler Columbia Edition? I wouldn't think twice about driving it coast-to-coast, leaving tomorrow; maybe that's because I keep ALL my vehicles in tip-top condition - tires, belts/hoses, fluids; plus I carry spares of the stuff that MIGHT strand me. C'mon guys - how many close to NEW vehicles have we seen on the hook or beside the road with their hoods up?
Maintenance away, but when the thing is defective to start folks are kinda screwed. Ford Triton plug popers come to mind as a #1 consistent repair. Been there, done that. I will admit the two local shops in my neck of the woods are littered with far more Ram PU's than anything else.
Ford has always had interesting ideas regarding spark plug sizing.

I have been long hauling for many years 22+ hours to London and 14+ hours to LA not including the 4.5 hours Perth to Sydney jumping straight on a 14 hour to US and let me tell you it gets worse the older you get! The f ing toilets are all ways occupied
They dont sell Toyotas that big in Australia but F250,s/350,s and Rams are becoming popular if you have the $150,000 to buy one!
