After seeing all these pictures and only being able to imagine how much fun that is, I’m 100% going next year! I need to get some experience in rock crawling and expand past the muddy parks in used to! Moab or (as @IBasket mentioned) the Rubicon would be a great first rock crawling trip. Plus it’d be great to meet some fellow forum members!
Can’t be worse then me lol. You’ve got at least some experience with rocks although Im pretty sure I’ve read some posts about you smashing into stuff lolI am sure there is enough experience with this group, they could even get me <nOob> through all that.

I guess we’ll find out next year… gotta get it all finished up before then and get some real lockers in my diffs. No more truetracs!Maybe you are more teachable than me. I can't seem to stop smashing up my Jeep.
I like smashing my stuff too it's how you learnMaybe you are more teachable than me. I can't seem to stop smashing up my Jeep.
Unfortunately no. Felt like I was starting to climb a couple times but couldn’t get out.@Apparition did you make it out of Mickey’s Tub?
I was playing in it last week at EJS. Same out come for me. It’s steep! Don’t get too far driver…bad things could happen quickUnfortunately no. Felt like I was starting to climb a couple times but couldn’t get out.
Great pic though. After watching the video I should have stayed in the throttle. I started lifting a front tire but it looked controlled as I climbed.I was playing in it last week at EJS. Same out come for me. It’s steep! Don’t get too far driver…bad things could happen quick View attachment 326069
Same, I’m betting our experiences were similar.Great pic though. After watching the video I should have stayed in the throttle. I started lifting a front tire but it looked controlled as I climbed.
I let off because it seemed to me like I was going over.
I did have the tires smoking which did start me climbing but it didn’t seem to last long.
I’m curious as to how temp and humidity play into getting up some of the walls. They didn’t seem as sticky as I’m used to for Moab. Could I have done it on a 100 degree day?
I recognize @LarryTJ from last year. Our Tj fest group out for pizza. Some faces are missing. View attachment 325932
