Looking for a good rear spring perch relocation write-ups

Look at the photos. The square bit is the bracket, the circular piece is the spring perch.

In hindsight, I could have just used the stock perches and relocated them. In my mind I was just worried somehow I would end up messing them up in the process of cutting them off, hence the reason I bought the GenRight ones.

It's easier to just reuse the stock ones, unless yours are rusted out, at which point something like this works just fine.
They look better than factory, I may use them if I relocate mine.

 the pic of the installed bracket does not contain the other part.

so you either weld 1 part onto the right spot.
or you weld that other part on and it's then just held by the single bolt and considered adjustable?

or is it the jig to place the 1st piece where you want it and be the correct level spot you desire then tossed aside?

Seems you are right, I wonder if they’d just sell the non adjustable piece?

if it's as appears that's all they are selling you in the 1st place. the other piece is trash as soon as the tacks are planted.

it's a jig to hold the new pad nice and level in the arch.

Held by the bolt and considered adjustable. Not a big deal, easy to use.

as soon as i put the lift in and stood back, my OCD went off seeing that sprinky.

i zipped all the welds with the dremel and stuck a pry bar in there and with just a bump they hopped right up to the top of the arch, i didn't even pull the springs.

No, and this is beyond fucking awesome and I see the confusion. The pic of the perch in the arch is done wrong and the piece that the perch bolts to is missing. Someone installed it wrong, sent the pic in, GR used it, and no one caught it.

Good point Blaine
The adjustable feature is dumb. Not as dumb as using a picture showing your product installed wrong, but dumb nonetheless. The spring has been moved from leaning way forward. Once you straighten any of that out, it is already much happier than it has ever been so why the need to move it unless you just can't figure out how to put the perch in the middle of the arch? Dumb.

My right rear spring perch is rusted so the spring is starting to pop through and the center is completely gone. I noticed that the GR ones might make the rear sit higher up to 2 inches. I have 1 inch clearance to my garage door. Somewhere I saw that the Artec ones will maintain the same rear ride height as the OEM location. Thoughts? I guess I could cut off the OEM one and weld in new center plate, center tubing, etc. But again If it changes the ride height, then that could be potentially annoying.

I installed the Rusty’s kit on mine and you weld on a bracket Andy then get a new spring perch that is adjustable. I’m not sure it needs to be so adjustable. I just lined it up with the hole in the arch and lengthened my wheelbase as far as I could and bolted the perch on. I think it did add a slight amount of lift at most maybe 1/2 inch. I was not running a swing out carrier with a 35 at the time. Now it seems pretty level with that installed. One thing I can say is it did firm the ride up a bit now that the spring isn’t trying to get bent in half.

A for instance. PO install. Adds 2" to 4.5" springs. Actually, looking at it closer, appears to add 3" to where OEM spring would have mounted on top.

For anyone with the Genright brackets:
Do these jive with the stock trackbar mount? Considering installing these to straighten my springs a bit as the extreme angles are causing the springs to cut into my airbags. Not ready to 4-link just yet.

(A photo would be especially helpful.)
Thanks in advance!
