Sometimes, I think a sedan makes a better looking ride than a hardtop. This may be one of those times...
IMO there is JUST something about the lines of a 57 Chevy. I wish I had pictures of mine & of course wish I'd never sold it. Need to win the LOTTO so I can afford to buy one again and fix it up like I'd love to do.
Hopefully he was in the insurance grace period. On another forum I'm on a guy posted up about how his new $80k truck was stolen and his wife never put insurance on it, he was out of the grace period too.
Also Jay Leno praised the GT as it was easy to drive in comparison to Ferrari's and such. Dude was a dumbass.
I'd have to find the article now but I don't think he was in the grace period time frame.

When I originally read it, I think it said the car was not tagged or insured. I've said it before, just another example of money can't buy brains.

Wheel/tire combos can make or break a car. This is definitely not the combination I would have chosen, but to each their own, right? That aside, except for the stance, the car could pass as stock.
I know a guy that had a near identical Nomad. He fixed/restored it in high school and kept it about 10 years. He joined the Navy and moved to the Philippines, and I heard he has no plans on coming back, so he sold the car a few years ago.

Yes they can. The right wheel/tire combo can make a turd look good, but the wrong combo can really dull a star. Ever seen import style wheels on a mustang or camaro?

Yup. It's like eating rice with your hamburger. Doesn't go good together...
