Rear end moving around in sharp turns

My rear axle is dancing around in sharp turns or from when I back up and turn into the street out of my driveway. I’ve been having this problem since I’ve owned it.

I do have a lift ome 2” installed a few months ago and all new components everywhere and everything torqued and re torqued and just can’t figure this out for life of me !!!

Anyone ever have the same problem and figure this out ? Or does anyone have any hints ?

Moving around how? Bouncing up and down, side to side, feel loose? There are a lot of ways that it can feel like its moving...and they are all different causes.

Feels loose like it has rear steering on turns.

Is the rear track bar bolted (and torqued properly) in place? How about the rear sway bar, is it hooked up?

I replaced the rear links and sway bushings today and the track bar I just put in a few weeks ago. I noticed it feels the same as when I bought it. Everything is torqued correctly.

The new stock control arms are 55 for upper and 120 ft lb lower.

What size tires are you running, and at what psi?

Axles are centered with track bar. I guess it’s a mystery. Maybe I’ll tighten trackbar bolts more and rear lower controls arms again although I know it’s tight

Since you've replaced most everything in the rear suspension and your tires sound fine, and it's done this since you've owned it, I think you're just experiencing the normal short wheel base wag of a TJ. How old are your shocks?

Sounds like it may just be the way the vehicle drives. If this is your first Wrangler, you may just not be used to it. Given that every thing on the rear end sounds new, this is the only conclusion I can come to. These things don't do sharp corners at high speeds obviously.

Do you have a rear LSD/Locker installed? Any noises or vibrations?

I rebuilt the rear lsd and installed a spartan lunchbox locker in front. Used to be open when I got it. I didn’t like the 3.07 gearing so I found some axles with 3.73h that had damaged track bar mounts and took the carriers out and installed on mine. Took me a few weeks of shimming and swearing cuz my first time doing gears but no problems yet. Haven’t been able to wheel it yet. Just wanna make sure everything good before I get stranded ! Lol
Next is winch bumpers and side armor. Not a rockcrawler but most other stuff. Will get pics tonight. I may have one on my phone .

I had a similar problem along with severe wear on my rear tires. It took me about 2 years to figure out the tube the passenger tire axle runs in was loose where it is pressed into the differential housing. I had little to no oil leaking. I have yet to hear of anyone else who had the same problem, but worth at least checking. Its not going to be obvious by just looking, you will have to jack it up and do some pushing and pulling.
