I sat in one once at a Baltimore car show in the 80's. About as close as I'd ever come to one.

Drove a 2-tone green Customline 2-dr hardtop in 1981 from Washington state all the way to New York. Ran a 272 Y-block and a Ford-O-Matic in it. Absolutely loved that car. Of course, a '56 Ford 2-dr hardtop is my favorite car in the world. I've owned five or six of 'em. Have a ratty Victoria parked out back, in fact. You have excellent taste in cars, @Head Lice. Trucks, too!
Those aren't bad , not as clean as a 56 Chevy Belair , but not bad !

saturday morning a couple weeks ago on the way to the grocery store around 6:45 am. extreme southwest massachusetts.
when i was a kid in the early 80's ( FITCHBURG MASS CLASS OF 86', GO RAIDERS !!! ) there was a guy that ran a blower. shamefully don't remember what it was actually in, may not have even known then what it was. but goddamn, that sound when you heard it a couple times a year from 1/2 a mile away, you knew it was him heading up main street about 30-40 miles an hour.
