East coast vs West coast wheeling

They let you wheel on Jockey Ridge? I always thought Kill Devil Hill - Wright Brothers and all that - and the areas around there were all off limits. But, it’s been quite a few years since I’ve been there.

You can drive on jockeys ridge one time. Then you will go straight to jail.

It's pedestrian only and has been for a very long time.

You can drive on the beach in the Outer Banks. Off season you can drive just about anywhere on the beach but not fast. Still a good time though!

Riddle me this, how come a lot of parts/upgrades for our rigs, some good ones anyway, come from the west coast. R&D performed out west only to be put on east coast rigs...

@toximus, tire placement, picking lines, airing down (some of them), trailering to the wheeling spot. Only men would think of this. This is our contribution to the human race! 🤣

Check out these buggies with minimal suspension travel, low belly height, small tires, and less HP than our Jeeps absolutely GETTING SOME on the East coast! Their geometry seems to be working well too!

Why tf am I spending all my money on a Jeep this looks way more fun

I'm wondering the same thing. I don't think I've ever been that happy in my Jeep.

$800(?) for mower and upgrades. $500 utility trailer. Tow with anything. $200 splurge on rain coat and boots.

I think we should do this!

There's some great trails in upper MI for this kind of thing. Who wants to do a mower adventure in Summer/Fall 2023? We could set a time and money budget for working on them to keep things fun and bring tow straps and a welder along just in case.

Tow with your Jeeps so we can do bigger stuff after.

These type of shenanigans have long been on my mind as a reformed lawn mower guy. I wonder if the MiDNR would make you buy a trail permit?

Heck yeah! We should get a few guys together and do this!

I know a few spots where we could do this without any trouble. #NoCopNoStop

I'm in. WIfe is always looking for an excuse to head to the Keweenaw...She might not like me buying another tractor...but then again, that never stopped me before! Can we do a show an shine too? I have a 65 Broadmoor that cleans up and show REALLY well...

My mind is already turning on this...I have a set of Ags and Tri-ribs, already mounted and ready to be filled with Beet Juice.

Ya'll suck. I don't care what the budget is, I won't be able to find anything out here that will get inside it. They think anything out here that looks like it can be painted JD green with a ride on seat and a mower blade is worth its weight in lithium.

Come on out and I can have a 2nd "trail rig" dialed in for you. It might be Lawn Boy green though! I ain't that fancy!
