Should I keep the bezels chrome to match the flares and Jeep overall, or should I paint them black? What do you guys think?

I prefer body matched bezels. If I were to do anything, I'd buy some inexpensive black bezels on Amazon and get some color matched 2K spray cans. Having said that, the chrome doesn't stand out with silver like they would with another color.

@Hog got me to do that and I love it-

I normally hate anything chrome but it does blend into the silver pretty well (I also have a silver TJ) so I’d either leave it as is or try body-matched and post a pic so I’d know if I like it haha. I haven’t been able to find any pics of a silver TJ with body matched bezels yet and I’m not worried about it enough to do it without knowing that I like it.
I do really like the look on the yellow and white TJs.

I’d definitely not do black. It always looks like eyeliner to me ever since someone made that comment.

I bought a set of black bezels and ran them for a few weeks before reinstalling the chrome. I thought it would match the rest of my Jeep which is mostly black but felt like it lost a lot of its original character instead. The TJ almost has that herbie look with the chrome bezels as if it is alive. Sounds corny but I missed it.

I went black and happily threw the chrome parts in the trash. My only regret was not doing it sooner.

That said the chrome blends in better with your color. You could always install some for cheap and put these back on if you don’t like it. Or you could paint match them.

Once you go black, you never.....

You know the rest......
