Hello all. My '05 Sport came with 15" steel wheels. I'd like to swap out with some stock aluminum wheels while keeping it as original as possible. Can someone send me a photo of the wheel options that were available for the '05 Sport?

According to my '05 Wrangler brochure, the Sport was only available with the standard steel wheels or the optional Ravine alloys, pictured in the second post. While the 15x7 Ecco alloy was available in '05, according to the brochure that was only available as an option for the Wrangler X. The 16x8 Moab alloy was only available on the Rubicon models. All '05 Wrangler Unlimiteds got the Ravine, except the Unlimited Rubicon which got the Moab.

And how does that link tell him what was available as a factory option for an '05 Sport?

They wear really good. They ride really hard but not bad for the short wheelbase Jeep. I like them so much that I put a set on my Ram and that’s where I figured out the hard ride. The Ram went from the soft passenger type ride to the hard ride I’m describing.

Thank you Jerry. I did search the forum and Googled for them but I wanted to know which ones were offered for the specific year and trim. Fit example, I didn't want a Rubicon wheel on my Sport. Chris' Sticky of OE Specs did not come up in my search.

Thank you. How would you compare them to the BFG AT? I have the BFG on my F150. They wear excellent but are a tad rougher than the original P tires.

Exactly what I needed, THANK YOU. I'd love to get my hands on an '05 brochure. All I can find was an '06.

You're welcome. I bought it on eBay right after buying my '05 a couple of weeks ago. Not sure why, but I nerd out on stuff like that. I find something about period correctness oddly appealing.

Never had bfg’s so I cannot compare. The at3’s are “e” rated so of course they ride a bit hard. Down a smooth road they are perfect, but when I get on the secondary roads you feel the bumps a lot more. Where the road has been repaired or a dip in the road from a repair you know it. But like I say, it’s a short wheelbase so you feel more anyway

Same here, that's why I want to stick with what was offered for my year and trim. You may have a brochure but do you have one of these bad boys??? 🤣
