Title says it all. I have Mopar water pump, thermostat and Hayden clutch fan. Figured might as well replace radiator hoses and thermostat housing. Any reason to spend the extra cash for Mopar for these parts. Any recommendations on brands?

No specific reason on the housing, just figured for $15 or so wouldn’t hurt.I the Mopar one is like $45 though. Gates is what I was looking at on Rockauto.

I've never replaced a thermostat housing, but if its warped or gouged and wont seal I'd have zero reservations about buying a dorman or whatever to replace it.

I just put gates hoses on mine, but one reason to go Mopar is I've read they come with the constant tension hose clamps already on them, so if a previous owner has replaced yours with worm drive clamps it would be easier than hunting down the correct sizes.

Only one way to appease the OEM gods...

I bought a new thermostat housing from one of the parts stores in town...mine was pitted and warped. New one wouldn't seal either so I put a straight edge on it and it wasn't flat either. Belt sander fixed it. Not saying Mopar would be flat...but you get what you pay for...also think they're some billet aluminum ones out there. If you really want to spend $250 on a thermostat housing.

I don’t think so.

Thanks again everyone. I skipped the housing and ordered Gates radiator hoses and then hoses for the heater supply and return. Once done the cooling system should be all set.
