Jeep Jamboree unusual rig requirement

I‘ve never been to Moab so probably not the best person to comment on this. Tire size isn’t everything, I think I’d rather see someone with 35” with a Dana 44 axle then someone who just lifted a Jeep, cut fenders etc to fit 40” on Dana 35 axle. Personally I think the second option is more prone to trouble then the first one everything else being equal.

I didn’t feel like I embarrassed myself on 33s this year

Oh the irony

Fuck them and their jamboree, those large group rides are a pain in the ass anyway, you spend more time sitting in line then wheeling by a large margin. I have never been a fan of large group rides, but that's just me.

This was a big concern of mine before deciding to do the Jeepers Jamboree Rubicon trip.
It was not an issue. The spotters kept everyone moving, even me on 33s.

It’s a crock is what it is. $2500 for a trail ride with a bunch of duck infested 4 doors?

We are running a special. Starting today, send me 2250.00 and I am going to sell you a lifetime pass for all public trails in America.

Right off the bat the 07-010’s are welcome because none still run. All those disqualified themselves. No issue with them breaking down. They already have.

I could care less if they said I couldn’t come….I didn’t ask to anyway.

Ours in Alabama is already sold out….my take is they have groupies that follow this around and they all voted out the TJ owners.

I wouldn’t want to be seen with most of these people any way.

A snob with a V6 is a joke.

Well if you're looking for suggestions I'd start with running any (or all) of the back country discovery routes.

We just finished the WABDR. Totally epic run. Hardly saw anyone on the trip.

I'm heading out on the OBDR in a few weeks with a friend. So long as the fires chill out

Wow I have to pay 2 grand to drive in a conga line.

Too many rules. True Jeepers don’t follow no rules.

Gotta be careful with that. I've heard that the lgbtq+ (at least those with a functioning dick) just love being part of a conga line.

And FWIW I think I figured out what the + is there for: lgbtq+JKJL

Sure we do, at least if we're not being assholes. Stay on the trails when posted, clean up our trash, clean up if we busted something and dumped oil on the ground, don't drink while offroading, etc. Offroaders have a bad enough image with some that we need to make sure we're not giving anyone any ammo to use against us to shut down even more trails.

Right on.

That’s why I make up new rules every day.

Like All Rubicon owners post at odd hours this week to keep the algorithm working.

Man this forum gets complicated. Beats me why it has to be so hard.
