so stock speakers are not the best so i upgraded all with kicker speakers, my dash keeps blowing them up for some reason . so i wonder what i can do because just the speaker bar on sounds ok but once the top is off its not loud enough.

How is your dash blowing speakers up? Need to know more about your setup.

i’m on i think my 3rd set of kicker dash speakers at lower volume they sound fine but once i turn up
the volume there like poping noise, not like fire poping more like something broke in the speaker

I'm running the same model of Kickers at all four locations as well as a Kicker in the factory sub box, no issues. Factory head unit has been replaced with a relatively inexpensive Kenwood unit, but uses a harness adapter to the factory wiring. (y)

hmm something not right with mine then

that may be the problem, the 4x6 speakers arent great. there are brackets/pods that will allow use of a 5.25" speaker in the dash. still shocking that they are blowing as kicker makes a decent speaker, but if you had to replace another one, i'd go to the 5.25.

also, many speakers get damaged when underpowered and increased volume levels, I'm wondering if the deck itself has some issues and is causing damage

i think it’s the speakers the 5.25 in the bar unit hit pretty good they get a little distorted at 45-50 volume level but ok at another levels

what’s a good head unit then

Your HU might be good, you just need to run an external amp, not the built in amp.

Does your HU have RCA outputs for an amp? If not, then you'll want to look into that. Alpine has some nice shallow mount mechless HU's that have matching amps that mount to the back, and they take the same amount of space as a traditional HU. Only issue is you need to convert your dash to a double DIN.
