Pine Barrens open?

Hey I was thinking about heading to the Pine Barrens to do some off-roading this weekend. Is there anyone out in New Jersey who can confirm that the trails are open right now? Don't want to make a two hour trip for nothing.

I was always under the impression they're open year round from dawn till dusk. You just need to make sure you stay off the trails marked with red and white signs prohibiting vehicles.

I would imagine you’re talking about Wharton State forest in New Jersey. As the poster above noted, stay off of the closed trails-use Google maps to see where your vehicle is permitted-and you should be fine.

Just took a trip out there this weekend to do some trail riding. Lots of branches/trees down blocking paths, my buddies and i moved a lot of them...you're welcome.
