Hello the jeepers
At the heating control level, the blower only injects hot air into the passenger compartment
What is going on ? What's the cause ?

The problem could be one of the air flow dampers, the damper actuator or even the control console.
There is a downloadable PDF of the Factory Service Manual for your year Jeep in the TJ Resources section.
Section 24 has a drawing of the dampers setup and steps for trouble shooting the Heating and Air Conditioning system.

IF the air flow is constantly thru the defroster vents near the windshield; then the problem is more than likely the vacuum supply or a leaking hose.
IF the air flow is thru the four vents that can be directed; then the problem could be one of the air flow dampers, the damper actuator or even the control console.

C'était l'actionneur de la porte d'air qui était défectueux ; sur le modèle 2002, le boîtier est situé côté passager sous le tableau de bord, 3 vis le maintien en place
