Hello to everyone, and thank you for letting me in the group. Just bought a 2004 tj model x last week. This is not my first dance with a 4x4. I have owned 2 cj5's, 1 s10 blazer, and a 77 international scout. I look forward to everyone's post and being able to learn from this group. Love this tj, the first time that i have had a/c, and power steering on a 4 wheel drive at one time. Sincerely tm dean

welcome to the forum and congrats on your TJ 🍻

If it's expert knowledge you're seeking, you couldn't have joined a better forum or group.

That’s it in a nut shell- on this forum you will get valuable ideas that work, experience with the platform and all you need to know to enjoy the jeep.

Congratulations and welcome . This is a wonderful forum . There is a vast knowledge base here with members eagerly sharing information and experience to assist with your repairs or upgrades . I have been truly blessed by the information available here while repairing or modifying our LJ . We've had this Jeep a little over eleven years now and it has been great . We bought it mainly for trail riding Forrest Service roads and such . It is also our toad behind the motorhome when we travel . I joined this forum a few months ago and have learned more about our Jeep than all the previous years of ownership .

I have came close to stating that you can’t really own a TJ without being on here- Of course we know many people have them that do not belong to this forum.

That is also a lot of the reason when most of us get one that so much has to be straightened out-

The amount of misinformation in the market is just unbelievable-

If there is is anything that is really key about this forum it is accuracy and workability.

I would say the average member here modifies and actively does the work themselves-

And we have everything from world class mechanics and specialists all the way to single mothers that have a TJ.

If you care about the condition of the vehicle and want to be involved in your own wrenching, or at the minimum just defend yourself from misguided shops....You need to be on here.

We help each other.
