Bug deflectors?

I took my original one off after a couple years of not seeming to help. No change post-removal.
I'm glad to hear it does help some folks.
I expect that I'll assassinate a good number of bugs by pushing a rectangle of glass down the road at up to 65mph. Night is the worst.
I also am a guy who cleans the windshield frequently, so I don't see a lot of accumulation. I kind of figure bug splats and windshield replacements is another Jeep thing.
I guess if I lived in a land of love bugs, like when we lived in Florida, I'd try anything!

They do nothing for love bugs...trust me...nothing does. God I hate those things!!!!!!

When I see a vehicle with a bug guard, it reminds me of the old 1990’s Ford Trucks.

An unusual idea for dealing with love bugs. I wonder if it would help.
I'm using a product called Tech Shine which applies super easy and leaves the paint and glass slippery slick (not greasy) and beads for weeks. Wash Jeep, apply with included flat sponge all over paint, plastic, and glass, wipe off then buff with microfiber. I dry/buff a panel at a time because if you let it dry it'll streak.
I love "shade tree" detailing, certainly no pro, but this doesn't require the wash, clay, finish correction, wax, polish, gloss process that leaves a fantastic shine but takes all day.
