Car pics too cool not to share

OK,
All you North West guys probably know what this is because they have been popular out there for years, not so much here in the Midwest.
This one of my 2 1970 ROKON TrailBreaker 2wd motorcycle. I got these from the original owner that bought them new in upper Michigan when he lived there and used them to moose hunt. I'm considering doing a full restore on this one but may also just leave it the way it is. It runs and rides fine.

This picture is without the gas tank, I had it off cleaning it out.

Thanks, I appreciate that...

Thought I might post this also. It's not ground based so it might not apply..

This is my current Cessna 172N.
It's completely factory other than upgraded exhaust for 10 more HP.
I've been flying a little over 20 years and owned a Cessna 150M for the first 13 years.

There was one for sale here locally last year.. it was olive drab and looked like it had been completely gone through...
I never did stop and look how much they wanted for it.

I haven't seen one of those in person before, but am acutely aware of them. They always fascinated me. I can't recall if there is a modern ROKON version of this, or if'n it was a different company altogether that was (recently) producing something similar (2WD), but I remember reading up on them a while back. I love oddities such as this. (y)

The Rokon was very popular in AK for good reason. I've ridden one a few times and they were pretty amazing what they could get thru being 2WD. On the tundra they worked good but I was only 11 so to me they were a heavy bike back then.

I've been introduced to @Daubie3 rigs prior to this and he does have some nice rigs.

They were purchased from the original owners/developer of them several years ago and are still in business but in New Hampshire today.

You could use one of those out there in Idaho for sure..

Oh, I don't know... I know of a couple people, that absolutely love to take their dirt bikes out on the trails, that have had close encounters with some pissed off puddy tats of the mountian variety... Them murder mittens would make short work of this pudgy sucker. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Something to think about for sure, especially when top speed on those is little over 25mph and that's with a tailwind and leaning slightly down hill... LOL
Those kitties wouldn't even work up a sweat.

It does say that they are shy by nature, so I guess you'd have to introduce yourself first.

They are only shy if the aren't hungry 😂. I had one stalking me after field dressing a buck. Thankfully I saw it several hundred yards downwind and was able to hike faster than I ever had before with a blacktail on my back. I'm not worried about the bears down here. Just the cats...

Yes, it is long gone... I sold it... being responsible...

Gross. I got light-headed just thinking about that. :sneaky:

This is my 1951 Ford Victoria that is mostly restored to stock with a few hot rod items here and there.
It still has a flathead V8 but has been replaced by one from a Mercury. 3 on the tree with overdrive. I did upgrade to front disc brakes for safety/driveability..

IDK what you've seen in this thread, but my dad has some old flathead Fords, one of those is a '50 Merc that is mostly stock. I drove it a week ago and man, those stock brakes are lacking, and I'm used to old drums. The car is just now getting back on the road, so we're still shaking things out. He has considered doing a front disc swap, but hasn't committed. What setup did you go with and how much of a difference did it make?

I also have this 1962 Ford Galaxie 500 Sunliner convertible.

Love it. A friend of my dad's picked up one like that 2 years ago, not as shinny, but in good driver condition, and has been having fun with it. It makes me a little jealous since I know he has less in that whole car driving than I do in a half completed project.
