After reading the description on EBay for that harness; no where does it state what the gauge of the wiring or the rating of the relays.
The only information provided is that the harness is rated for 80A; which I highly doubt.
For the harness to be rated for 80A; that would require 4 gauge wiring feeding the relays, 100A relays and a 80A fuse.
Those relays are cheap Chinese knock offs, the wiring is possibly 14ga and the fuse might be 20A.

That's possible. But I'd be willing to bet that more current flows through this harness than through a TJ light switch. K Suspensions charges $25 plus $10 shipping for this exact harness. Same quality same everything and likely the same source.

This is one of those things that look at it and wonder how does that get made, shipped around the world to your door for $10 and someone made $$🤷🏽‍♂️. Or maybe here they are liquidating inventory…. I bought two…cause I couldn’t help myself.

I think it's liquidating inventory. Too many were produced but not as many sold as expected. Most cars are using LEDs now so...

BTW, I'm cutting the plugs off of one to make a fog light harness after splicing the correct connectors to the harness.

My opinion, colored by shoveling up and cutting up countless burned cars and RVs...is do you really want to risk an electrical fire to save a few dollars on correctly sized wire and high quality relays?

We were just discussing how and where to mount fire extinguishers.

Maybe it's not good for 80A, but that doesn't make it useless. A pair of 100W halogen H4s would only pull about 17A combined. Don't know why they feel the need to claim 80A, I can't recall ever seeing a 480W H4.

Because the Chinese always exaggerate ratings like LEDs that are 25,000 lumens 🤣

Y’all It’s $10…delivered. Worst case you get a fuse and some plastic wire loom to play with… 😂🤣

AND - here's the non-answer I received when I asked what gauge the wire was, and I quote:

"Thank you for your inquiry. The item is 12V H4 plug port. Thank you."

Maybe he didn't understand your question. Did you type it in Chinese?
