Dana 35 to Dana 44

I have a 1998 TJ with the Dana 35 axle. I have come across a Dana 44, with same gear ratio, out of an 02 TJ. Am I correct in thinking that as long as I get the driveshaft from the Dana 44 it should be a direct swap with my Dana 35, correct?

Will the control arms need to be different or do they use the same control arms?

Yes I swapped to a 44 and it was a direct bolt in besides the drive shaft length.

Yes!!! That's what I was thinking. I got the driveshaft covered as I'm getting the DS from the Dana 44 I'm buying. Thank you.
