Will a Rubicon locker fit a 35-spline GM Dana 44

Hey I just joined this forum. My jeep has an old GM Dana 44 rear axle (don’t hate, building a jeep in college is a grind).

I bent both shafts pretty bad. My question is will a rubicon locker fit in the older Dana 44 with new gears and axle shafts? I found a decent deal on a 35 spline ARB air locker for a rubicon Dana 44 (part number RD246). Are the carrier bearing sizes the same? Will this fit with the correct gears and axle shafts?

The Rubicon Dana 44 and the older GM Dana 44 have some differences. The most significant difference lies in the carrier and bearing sizes. The Rubicon locker is designed for the Dana 44 used in Jeep Rubicons, which use a different carrier compared to the older GM Dana 44.

I wouldn't even bother. If you're going to try and fit a Rubicon locker, just put in an ARB. The Rubicon lockers are weak anyways in comparison to an ARB.
