Ok, then I think it should be illegal to tell someone else how to handle their personal safety. See how that works? We are supposed to be a nation that celebrates the individual, and that celebration means you don't get a say in many of my decisions. One consequence of that individual liberty is that stupid people will do stupid things that harm others, but there's no way around that. It's impossible for a government to guarantee everyone's safety, and in the process of attempting to do that, a government will completely destroy that individual liberty. Please - don't fall into that trap; rather, step around it and move on! Celebrate the freedom to remove your doors, even if it's not for you!

I don't think the government should be in the business of deciding whether driving with your doors off is legal or illegal.
Why would you want to centralize more power in the hands of people who are incompetent at anything and everything they do? I mean look how well they've done with Washington state, right?
The good news is that driving with the doors off is legal in most places. It looks like you're not going to be able to suck the fun out of owning a Jeep for the rest of us. Thank God for that!
