I was scrolling through Facebook marketplace when I saw these, OEM jeep TJ full doors with power windows in them. I don’t think that Chrysler ever offered auto windows for the TJ and couldn’t find anything online about if they did or not.

Was this a kit at some point or is this totally custom?

These are in Archdale, NC for $800 if anyone is interested.

Fine...I'll be the outlier....why not? If you can click a button to do something while driving rather than cranking on a window then that's less of a distraction. I support that.

I put power locks on my half doors. When I'm in winter mode...which in the PNW is most of the time... it's nice clicking a button to lock the doors.

Kits are available. Some expensive, some cheap. Some more complicated. It's your Jeep and if it makes you happy go for it.

$800 isn't terrible for a set of full doors anyways.

You aren't the outlier, you just don't have your head up your ass. I've installed power locks on a rig with full doors and a hard top to get the keyless entry function. I would do power windows for the same reason. Hop out, hit a button, doors lock and the windows roll up. Jeeps are crude but you don't have to be crude to enjoy one.

I remember years ago when some company made an automatic power soft top for TJs. My Mom's 67' Pontiac Lemans had one. High-tech has come a long way.
p.s. Power windows would have helped me a lot when I detached a bicep tendon from both of my arms (at the shoulder). Rolling down a window for 3 months wasn't an option for me. I did it anyway and it was extremely painful. Can't have them surgically repaired because of insurance issues. (PO folks problems)

One of the first mods I did after buying the jeep was remote power locks on the full doors and tailgate.

The kit is from a company called Electric Life. I installed those along with their door locks nearly ten years ago. They are still working fine although the door locks periodically require adjustment.

Who would want power windows in a TJ though, honestly?

Seems like a downgrade to me, at least as far as a TJ is concerned.
