Random photos: Got anything interesting, unique, strange?

If so, that would be the first domestic 4 on the tree I've heard tell of - they seemed to be a European thing. (Cue sudden posts of several domestics with them now!)
4 (wheel drive) on a tree!

Have you had any regulator failures in your 123? The 124 is famous for them breaking without warning, especially the rears if not used regularly. All you get for a warning is a pop and the sound of the glass dropping down inside the door.

Its a 126, it has the stupid power windows, and yes, I've had problems with the rears.

Only one I've ever laid hands on was a Hillman, back in 1981. Couldn't tell you what year the car was, but it was the first time I'd ever heard of a "4 on the tree".

I faintly remember driving something with a 4 speed on the colom back in the day. I kinda remember having to pull up on the shifter for reverse. 🤔

Lectric. Never heard of hydraulic windows, but the door locks are vacuum actuated.

It goes back to the Grosser Mercedes 600 , almost everything was hydraulic powered from a central pump providing 2100 p.s.i. including the window lifts .
Typical German approach . I didn't know when they stopped the madness , apparently some time before the 80's .
