I've got a weird situation that just came up 2 weeks ago and hope someone has some suggestions as to why it's happening and how to correct it. Currently when I engage the left turn signal the odometer instrument light comes on and blinks, as does the turn signal. When I engage the right side turn signal, this doesn't happen. When I step on the brake pedal, my odometer light illuminates. When stopped with the ignition key in the on position and stepping on the brake pedal, the odometer light illuminates. These are just some of the things that occur and I can't figure out what is causing it. Does anyone have any thoughts about what may cause this? I live just outside of Seattle and if you know of a reliable and competent vehicle electrician in the area, please let me know. This is a 2005 stock TJ. Thanks!

Yes, that was my initial thought, I just don't know where to begin. The only thing I've done in the past 2 weeks is drop the fuel tank and remove the fuel pump and secondly remove the center consul to see why my emergency brake wouldn't engage after I had parked on a steep driveway. The brake is now back to normal! Thanks for your comments. Bye the way, where is the MFS switch. I should probably check that out?!?!
