RHD Y-link tie-rod / draglink

I have a RHD jeep TJ with a 4 inch lift on 35s.
I currently have the zj upgrade and it’s been decent but I think I’d like something a little beefier.

I’d by currectlync if I could, but they don’t make a RHD version.

So I’m looking at the ruffstuff 1 ton since they make a RHD version.
I need a little advice, just because they say it’s a Y link, which I’d like, but the tie rod and drag link seem to connect much closer to the knuckle than rockjock’s. See pictures.

Does this point of connection (being slightly less of an actual Y shape) make a difference? Does anyone have experience with the ruffstuff? Particularly a RHD by any chance?

From the pictures of the ruffstuff I would say you'll have an absolute wonderful time trying to align it properly. The RHD TJ crowd is an unloved bastard stepchild in terms of after market support.

Why do you think you need beefier steering?

I'd call Currie/Rock Jock and confirm they don't have a RHD version.

My brain is telling me it might just be a matter of rearranging components but someone will chime in with a practical reason that won't work.

Your brain is correct, The bend on the Tie rod would be facing inward if you mirrored the LHD over to RHD.

So then you'd think Currie/Rockjock could put one in the press the other direction and make a RHD.

I did. They don’t. In fact I got friends to call them too spaced out so they’d think there was demand…

Why do you think it would be harder to align vs currie? Is it due to the shape of the Y set up?

No not the Y itself, You will have to remove the TRE from either the Y link or the Pitman arm in order to twist the tie rod so that it lengthens or shortens. This is due to the bend in the TR.

The Currie has the point of adjustment close to the Pitman arm and this allows you to adjust the unit while assembled. The TRE at the Y is fixed.

Understood. Once adjusted though, it should be very functional.
