I'm sure the rust belt boys hate seeing stuff like that. 34 years old, and not a single rust spot on it.
I hadn’t fished other than a couple charter trips in probably 20 years. The kids wanted to go this year and we’ve had quite a bit of success and the wife wants to go every night after work. We have quite a few lakes to pick from.
I prefer bass or anything big. I don’t fish for anything small.
Was out shattering dreams earlier today when some kid swore he caught a 4 pound largemouth and I told him it wasn’t even 3. Weighed it for him and it was 2.4 lbs.
Ideally I’d go buy a bass boat but with 6 in the family I need to get something we can all use, for now

I like th pontoon idea but we’d look special in the fishing tournaments with one. Plus storage is a bigger issue.

Yeah, it cleaned up nice. I will say that the 460 has plenty of guts. I was fairly impressed with that aspect of the truck, as well as the comfort of the seats. I think it'll be a good rig for his needs.

Without some kind of trim control, that boat will never have good manners at speed. You need to be able to bring the bow back down a little at higher speeds to keep it from trying to do a Miss Budweiser backflip...

Getting a car trailer and going to use it for hauling projects around, as well as for general house-related needs (dump runs, and the like).
I don't know jack shit about boats, but even I recognized that the bow sure appeared to be riding high relative to the speed it was doing. Love the rooster tail, though!
