California NorCal Jeep adventures!

Soo... I will be bringing the .30-06 and 30-30 if y'all want to plink some beer cans,
I believe it to be safe enough, Mendocino has high humidity so its not a tinder box
A .30.06 is one hell of a plinker. I'm in. I'll bring one of my handguns along.

Is there still a chance we get smoked out? Smoke is terrible in the city today and theres no filters on the Jeeps air to my understanding.

If you pull the cowl panel, you should be able to fashion a way to mount a cabin filter to the opening going into the HVAC system. I've thought about that mod myself many times.

Yeah that's where the couple I've seen do it put it, only bad thing is your filter is outside and open to the elements. I'll have to do more research but I see more smokey days ahead so it probably moves up my list a fair amount.

As long as the cowl drain is clear, the filter shouldn't get wet, otherwise water would be pouring down the passenger floorboard.
