Anyone have a good video or tips on how to remove rear brake lines to the drums to remove the axle.

He’s right. Removing the axle doesn’t require removing the brake lines. Just disconnecting them.

Right here. Just use a wrench to disconnect from the hose and pull that tab off.

And if you don't have flare wrenches, please be very careful when you use an open-end wrench. They'll round off quick after the first slip. And use a second wrench to steady the flex line.

I changed my Dana 35 out for a Dana 44 last year and I disconnected my rear brake line at the fitting that's on top of the axle that splits the line and runs it to both wheels. I have a word of caution for you that's not directly related. I had a degree of difficulty getting the bleeders to break loose during the project. I went to the auto parts store and purchased a dedicated bleeder wrench. BEWARE!!! I can't remember the brand but it was the typical type of tool that they sell at auto parts stores. It immediately destroyed the first bleeder I used it on. The problem is that the bevel they always seem to feel that a box-end (or in this case, a split box-end) needs in order to make it easier to get the wrench on the fitting was HUGE. This left an extremely narrow "contact patch" in the center of the wrench which stripped the flats off the fitting immediately. So if you need to buy one of these wrenches, make sure to check out the end of it to make sure it is shaped correctly. My buddy Eric has one of these wrenches with no bevel at all on the end and it's fantastic. Sadly, it's a real live NASA tool (probably cost us taxpayers $60,000.00) and I'll never be able to find one.
