How to remove seat covers

I recently bought some low mileage factory seats to replace the tired seats in my 140,000 mile Rubicon. Problem is, they are Khaki, and I have a dark Slate Gray interior. SO...I want to pull the covers. However, Looking at the recline lever that is in the seat back toward the neck support on the outside of the seat, I don't understand how it comes off. It could be a roll pin or a friction fit. Anyone know before I break stuff?

You’re talking the tilt/fold knob? I think I’ve read that it just pulls off, really hard. Just the other day, as a matter of fact.

Don’t quote me on that though. LOL

Yes they are just slid on. A little tug and they will come off.

Takes a little effort but it will slide off. I think I was able to get a pair of needle nose over the top and a few light taps with a hammer.

I think you mean @Boinked. I am pretty sure I read he installed seat heaters. I am not quite to my interior yet.

Don't forget to spray the area with Kroil first ! ;-)
It's probably just being stubborn.
That tapping on the needle nose pliers will work I bet

Nope wasn't me. I want AC seats. Cant recall who did them.
