Seen this on Craigslist today
Jeep looks nice and clean looks like everything works . I know this is a
Jeep wrecking yard. I guess he makes more money by parting out.

I went to a salvage yard recently to get some parts to fix my car. Those places are really cool and a goldmine for a DIY'er when it comes to car repair. I didn't see any Jeeps though. I would imagine salvage yards don't get many of them, do they? Jeeper's would swarm over them like crazy!

Nope salvage yards won’t have Jeeps. There’s a plenty of salvage yards here in LA. If they have Jeeps here in a salvage yard here it’s mainly just Jeeps. Parts are expensive though!

He's right. Most yards either keep a certain group of brands, all brands or they just keep Jeeps. There are a few Jeep only yards in Socal. But very expensive on parts. The further out of LA you get the more reasonable the prices get. You have freight then. But you still get a much better deal. Shop www.car-parts.com it's got all the junkyards across the US.
