Front axle / tires not level

on my 97 jeep wrangler tj front axle dana 30 , I have the axle with tires on , lifted off the ground about 2" on jack stands on the concrete carport. For some reason the left side is lower than the right side. Here's the odd thing, when i turn my steering wheel to the far left or driver side the tires are off the the ground plenty enough to spin the tires, BUT when i turn my tires to the far right / passenger side the passenger side tire drops down to the concrete enough that I can not spin the passenger side tire at all with my hand. but the driver side front tire is still off the ground plenty to spin the tire. So whats making them uneven like that ? is that normal?

Are the stands supporting the axle or the frame?

jack stand are supporting the axle

Assuming same wheel O.S. and tire width both sides. Does your steering turn farther to the right than the left?

Please post a sharp well-lit (use a flash) photo of the stands, axle, & tires close enough so the axles and tires fill the entire width of the photo. Take it from close enough to the ground so everything can be clearly seen.

I'd measure since you're wondering why the axle is not level.

I see the picture is taken at a slight angle but the passenger tire looks bigger diameter. If the stands are the same height can you put the passenger side nearer the C?

I'd measure since you're wondering why the axle is not level.

Its pretty hard to measure , plus its dark. Ill measure better tomorrow. but it looked like there might be a slight difference, maybe a 1/4"

The inner C, welded to the axle tube, connects to the ball joints which connect to the knuckle.

How about just using a flashlight etc. so you can see the tape measure?

yea there is no room for that jack to fit there.

Agree with this, especially if that stand is 1/4" shorter
