Powertrax no-slip locker exploded

National drivetrain, out of chicago.
I ordered mine from Amazon. I wonder if the place you purchased it from have a bad defective batch. I haven’t heard/read about others having this issue that you have had with multiple powertrax lockers. Just bizarre. I wonder if each box has a lot number of some sort to track the batch that they are being produced in.

Installed mine sometime last year. It’s been fine daily driving and wheeling many times. However, when I received it one of the springs was 0.625” long and the rest were 0.810”. They said they would ship me one by Saturday. I didn’t get it till Tuesday. A bit frustrating for a DD. It was the right part though. I bought through Amazon. I still have the original box if that helps with figuring out Lot numbers. The actual company is Richmond Gear.

You now have a solid case to make a claim or two.

Really sucks.

I've been waiting to get it on the alignment rack to check. I don't think it's an axle problem, this one was cracked in the box.

Are they owning up to anything? I know when I called them it was always this one guy. Can’t remember his name. Sounded a little perturbed all the time.
