Wheels are in and It's time to get tires and I've heard nothing but great things about both of these tires and actually the Milestar's beats out the Goodrich's for handling in the rain based on many opinions. Not crazy about going all MT's, but Milestar now has the Paragonia in an AT? Help me decide which set to get, not concerned with price as there's a huge difference so that's not part of the equation. Tell me about your Goddrichs or Patagonias if you have them and your opinions on getting them again or not.

Ko2's ! can't say enough about them. There is no negatives that I found. They're quiet, They Ride nice, great grip. I got them in C range for a softer ride. so many of the tires in larger sizes only come in D or E range.

I've never had any problem in the rain and I never had any problem in the snow.

but opinions are pretty easy to come by, everybody's going to love what they're satisfied with.

I will say that I like my ko2 so much that I'm sticking with them for my truck to put them on before winter.

and others that I know that have them also love them and mention how tough they are. Hard to damage. And look great on the Jeep.

I have KO2s on my daily driver and have no complaints.

I have milestar Patagonia MTs on the TJ.
Surprisingly quiet
Way cheaper
Too new to comment on longevity

If it was my daily driver I would go BFG for longevity.

I'm going to try the Patagonias. Only because they are off road tires that apparently are very quiet on the street. And alot less expensive than K02's or Duratracs. I also like how they look. There is a good first few runs review on youtube about them.

But you can't go wrong with Duratracs or K02's. Those are the two long standing champions in the Jeep world.

I hear Milestar has a Patagonia in an AT with a 50k mile warranty. Something to contemplate on my part?

I've run both. The patagonia makes the same amount of noise as my k02s did.
I just got back from a 5000 mile cross country trip with the MTs on my 4runner. They survived wheeling on CO, moab, AZ, NV and CA with no issues.

I had the ATs for a week because of someone messed up. They were round and rode decent. lol

If you never offroad, don't buy an AT or MT. Just buy a decent road tire and be done with it.

Exactly! At one point I was commuting some distance in my Jeep and a buddy was getting rid of some used Michelin LTX tires that fit my Jeep perfectly. For road use, I've never had a better tire and there was also a noticeable increase in mpg. Absolutely no reason to put AT or MT tires on a pavement princess, unless you just want to pose at Starbucks with your Jeep and fake beadlocks...

I wouldn't run an M/T tire on the street personally. Not unless it only very rarely saw street time.

If it is primarily for on-road, the KO2 is the far better choice. I have KO2s and am very happy with them.

I have the third set of KO2’s on my F150, and the first set of Patagonia’s on the TJ. Dry areas, the KO2’s are great. They get slicker than owl snot on wet grass, and don’t self clear very well in mud. The Pats don’t seem to grip all that good on wet pavement, but can dig a trench in dirt.

Is this the Vision Wheels 398 Manx? If so, I'm thinking about going with this same wheel. I'd love to see pics of them when you get the tires on them and mounted.

Yes they are the 398 Manx's, 17X8.5 w/0 offset. I was blown away by the quality too. One piece also if you didn't know. Vision has been around since the 1970's too and huge in the racing circuit, especially in off road fwiw.
I'm actually waiting on a call right now about getting some Mickey Thompson Baja's at "a special" cost.
I'll definitely get some shots up when finished.

I have the Patagonia MT tires. They are louder than a street tire obviously but behave well. Once you get offroad they grip. In my yard they will pull up the grass while turning as opposed to flattening the grass. This would happen with any MT tire but you are asking about two specific tires. I would buy them again because when I want offroad traction, I want offroad traction and these have met my needs.

Too funny...was considering the MT Bajas as well. But I figured they would be $$$ compared to the Manx. Look forward to seeing whatever you end up with. Thank you

The Baja MTZ-P3 is the tire.
But I'm sure there's a MT Baja wheel too.

Make sure to go to Extreme Customs to get your wheels, nobody could beat their prices and customer service was top notch!
