Advice on choosing replacement seats?

I'm a big fan of Bestop tops but not their Chinese made Trailmax seats. They had to replace my driver's side seat twice under warranty due to the bolstering foam collapsing. How's your budget for your seats? Tight? A little flexible?
Somewhere between tight and a little flexible, haha. But I also am wanting to replace all three seats. And, of course, I'd like them to match. Two of these front seats and a backseat will total about a grand. I'd have a hard time going much beyond that. What are your thoughts?

PRP was my choice too, especially that they are American made right here in SoCal.
I have the PRP enduro low back seats and absolutely love them. I had the best top seat not the most comfortable seat and they are hot to sit in all day.
Are the stock ones crapped out, uncomfortable, or do you just want a different looking seat? There are several companies that make great seat covers in almost any color or fabric you could want. That'll save some big bucks. I find the stock seats to be very comfy. I just added an inch of memory foam on the bottom, a seat heater, and new covers.
My jeep came with smittybilt seats in the front. The tilt function was disabled and they didn't recline. Original owner threw out the original seats so recovering and upgrading wasn't an option.

I have the trail max seats. They look good and are OK comfort wise. I wasn’t a forum member when I purchased otherwise likely would have considered other options.
I got into the 3 for a REALlY good price so my value proposition is high.
Make sure to see if you need any seat adapters to budget for, which ever direction you go.

Goatman, I'm missing the rear seat completely, and the two front seats are pretty shot. Plus, because the exterior color of my Jeep is what I would call "forest green," I think that tan seats and a tan top would look really classic on it. The existing front seats are some kind of a charcoal gray. Anyway, those are the reasons I'm attracted to the Bestop "Spice" colored seats. Bummer that their quality isn't that great, but that's about in line with my budget anyway. At least, those are my thoughts right now.
I would be sure to get at least the driver seat with an adjustable recline function. There have been a few threads here about Kia Sportage(?) Seats being a good upgrade and easy install. I get why you would want to change out what you have. As I got older
I have found a bit of extra foam on the seat and the recline adjust (plus heat) are a big plus. If you find the right seat, but wrong color, there are plenty of good seat covers in a tan. Good luck!

Just joined the forum recently - my stock seats are totally crapped out with tears in all of them. I can salvage the back seat with a seat cover but am interested in the heater you got. Will need to replace both the front an back and plan on going with a tan/spice. Looks like PRP is running some great deals this weekend as well so now is the time to do it.
I got the seat heater off of Amazon. ~$20 iirc. High ratings both there and here. All prewired and super easy to install. I find the stock seats to be very comfy.(06) Just normal replacements are cheap too. And you know they will install without a lot of fudging.
