Snow chains for oversized off-road tires

Well it’s getting to be that time again. I lost a chain last year and need to get another set or two for my tires and off road wheeling. Where have you found has the best availability and pricing on off road worthy tire chains. I’m on 36x13.60-15’s

I have had better luck looking for mud service chains that are compatible in the snow versus snow chains for larger tires. Mud service chains are routinely used on flotation tires in deep mud and off road, and generally have larger links. The downside to mud service chains is that they tend to more aggressively damage pavement

A good real farm supply like Fleet or Tepmco can build you a tire chain in the store. I've always found their pricing to be fair and the quality of their chains to be top notch.
You can also find a special tool designed so you can make your own. I've opened up several small chains to build for a larger tire, and vice-versa.
