Someone stabbed my tires

Well guys a few months ago I made a post saying how my neighbors called the cops on a van of mine that I just bought it didn’t have tags the van ended up getting towed.

Couple weeks later I got a no front license plate ticket parked in front of my house after 3 years without one. I know my neighbors called that time as well.

I come out this morning to my tires being flat. Right off the bat I knew my tires got slashed because there is no way in hell both of my right side tires are flat. I filled them up with air sure enough 1” puncture to the sidewall on both tires. I’m so dam frustrated right now. I don’t have funds to purchase new tires. Thank god for credit right. It fuckn sucks I didn’t want to spend money on tires right now. My funds need to go else where not no dam tires. It is what it is. There’s nothing I can do about it.

Sorry that happened to you man - if it's any small consolation, my wife and I also have a crazy neighbor that has cost us real $$$ at times in the past too. As first time homeowners, it was especially stressful because it felt like we were the only ones going through it. Turns out, just about everyone has one at some point and usually you can find someone who had to deal with way worse stuff than you (although slashed tires is some serious BS).

Not saying you should spend more money but there are some fairly budget friendly and simple security set-ups you can purchase yourself. We use Blink home security cameras - they're likely never going to deter anyone but for us, we just wanted to make sure we'd have some evidence if anything ever happened again.

Setup cameras. Catch the neighbors or whoever is vandalizing your vehicles and let the law handle it. You can then also take them to court. It sucks, the system isn’t setup to help you much in this situation. I can’t type out what I’d like to really do to people who do this kind of crap.

Sounds like you have a neighbor that hates you. Have you tried to talk to them? Sometimes that helps, sometimes it doesn’t.

Make a police report that way there is a record of the incident. It may not help right away but in the long run it will. I agree with Not_Invented_Here_ if you can swing it, get some cameras. I'm sure you are going to have more instances with you neighbor. A picture is worth a thousand words.

Wish it was that easy, don't you? Some people get away with stuff though just through being massive bullies and threatening to sue or raise hell with anyone who calls them on their shit.

Seriously get cameras. I have a Reolink 4K system and it’s super easy to install (seriously just plug it in), no additional costs after purchase and can be monitored from anywhere through your phone.

I would even say audio is worth more than pictures. Even then, temper expectations. We had PAGES of insane emails, a video of her threatening to kill us if we reported her illegal business, neighbors who knew her and about her behavior, didn't get us our restraining order. Might cause them to think twice before they do it again though.

I live in apartments all the way in the back. My neighbors in my apartments are like family to me. I’ve been knowing them all my life. Same with my neighbors to the left and right of me and one house in front of my apartments. Im friends with all of those neighbors so it has to be other neighbors that live at least 2 houses away from me.Who can it be? I have no idea. I haven’t done a anything to anyone. I did make a police report even though I know there not going to do a thing but if I find out who did it I can call them but there needs to be concrete evidence. So without video or them snitching on themselves nothing is going to happen. Street justice is going to end up happening if I find out.
I’m going to start looking at video cameras though because I’m tired of this happening to me.

Does anyone now if Goodyear Wrangler duratrac 35x12.5x15 were discontinued? I’ve searched TireRack,discount tire and even called Goodyear. Good year said they don’t make them in that size. Looking into BF Goodrich all terrain if duretracs are not available.

I was in Detroit 25 years ago (12 Oaks Mall) and these dudes took the parking spot I was patiently flashing my turn signal waiting for the car to back out and clear the spot where I am about to park my car.
Out of the blue some thugs swooped in before I did and are all looking at me laughing. I am so pissed that I went to look for another spot and soon as they are all inside the mall, I went back and stabbed all the four tires of their cadillac. I parked from a distance and waited for them to come out, watched them thugs got so pissed. It happened for a reason.

Have you thought about just knocking on their door and asking them about it. Sometimes face to face questioning can stop the actions from happening in the future.

Your right on that could be someone else other than a neighbor. I haven’t drove my jeep for a couple months now. I drove it 3 days last week yesterday being the 3rd. I haven’t got into no road rage issues. The 3 days I drove my jeep it was raining so I was driving very careful under the speed limit at times. My jeep was muddy for getting into a muddy area. Maybe that was why. Someone didn’t like my jeep being so muddy.

Why? Things often escalate.

A history of police calls looks great in court , especially if you get in your car one morning and the neighbors attack you , and you shoot and kill them.

Does this happen? Yes.

Make a report , tell them who you suspect , and watch your back. At least quietly make a report . The police want that , they can't watch everything , but like he said ..in the long run it can help you .
