Hello, I'm looking to replace the triangular looking factory amplifier inside the center console of my 2005 LJR.
I was wondering if anyone had a working stock one that wasn't in use and would be willing to sell and ship.
I know it's a weird thing to ask for, but hopefully someone somewhere has one to get rid of. Lol
 
Don't assume they are all the same plug. I bought an enclosure off someone to replace the missing one on our 2001 and the plug under the console definitely did not marry up to the one on the amp. I wasn't planning on using the factory amp because it won't drive the Kicker sub I put in the enclosure so it wasn't an issue for me. And I'm not sure what year the enclosure came out of to narrow down your options.

@Firedawg24 , yea, still wanting one. What year TJ did your amp come out of ? I definitely want to make sure it's got the same connector.

@JMT , it's just simply to appease my OCD! 🤣🤣
I've already installed a separate Skar Audio 500 watt amp and subwoofer, so I have plenty of bass. The reason I want the stock amp is because my stock amp has never worked properly since I've had the Jeep. I've replaced the factory sub with a proper 2 ohm sub, but the factory amp just always cuts out and quits working. I just can't live with the fact that I have something that's installed in my Jeep and doesn't work. I must have all the things working properly!

@Firedawg24 , sweet! I'll take it! My Jeep is also an 05 Rubi Unlimited so it should be the same amp. I don't feel like going down to the garage tonight and pulling mine apart to check for sure. Lol!

Do you still need a factory amp? I have one out of my 03. The only thing you will need to reuse is the part with the fins on the outside. You can just have it for the shipping price if you want It.
 
Hey @Jrowell21 , I ended up getting that one from Firedawg24, but if for some strange reason his doesn't plug in or work with system, I'll definitely give you a shout. Thank you for offering it tho! It's great to have this community here and to be able to get all the advice and even weird random parts like factory amps. Lol
