Hey everyone. my jeep horn is tuck on and won't turn off. I disconnected it and have no idea what to do. thanks
Would I have to disable the airbag before checking these?I would check two things; horn relay and steering wheel contact point.
This is a picture of a relay, #85 coil ground is coming from your horn switch, if you pull your relay you can test the continuity to ground, if there is then it could be the horn button or clock spring, if not then test the relay for a stuck contact.Hey everyone. my jeep horn is tuck on and won't turn off. I learned the hard way that it is very loud at 10pm on a Sunday night at home. Just started going and not stopping for no apparent reason. Assuming the horn contacts got moisture or bugs. Pulled the fuse. Not sure if I want to pull the steering wheel apart.Wait?!?!? It's a TJ right? Who can hear it?

Here is an easy fix. Credit to the guy who posted the video. Only thing I did different was I used painters tape due to the adhesive on the electrical tape getting hot and gooey, and I used a drop of glue from a hot glue gun on the rubber tabs when I put everything back together. See video
