Hello everyone, I recently became the happy owner of a 06 Unlimited Sport LJ. While servicing the engine I came across a pair of violet wires that were cut. They are on the drivers side near the head light. I don't have any lights on the dash indicating a problem. I have all other wires accounted for eg: maker, turn signal and fog-light wires. The jeeps runs fine, so I am stumped as to what these wires were once hooked up to. I Have the service manual electrical diagram but I can't find the violet wires listed. Any help you all can provide would be great. Thanks in advance.

If it were me I would start simple and trace the wiring back. If it goes to a factory plug, go to the FSM where the plug locations are and figure out which one it is. Once determined, you should be able to go to the pin out section and see what color wires are coming out of it from the factory.
Ya I was hoping to avoid cutting the wiring harness open to trace them back, I will post pics on my next day off.
You don’t have to cut the loom open. It will eventually have to run to a connector plug if it’s factory.
