Its been brutal hot here since I got the TJ a couple weeks ago so I haven't really had much motivation to get out and mess with it. I did notice the airbag covers had the famous sticky texture to them so I set about fixing that today. It was a partial success as I was able to remedy the steering wheel airbag cover by using goof off and a lot of wiping but the passenger side is going to require different measures as it just wanted to wipe the coating off the cover revealing the black plastic underneath.
How hard is that cover to remove for those that have done so in the past and is Khaki SEM paint the best route and match for a refinish on my interior?
Also I'm trying to determine if I'm missing a trim piece on the passenger side along the bottom edge of the tub where the jack tools seem to be. I see one on the driver side but i am not familiar enough yet with these to know for sure if its missing something or not.
