Why are Jeeps so addictive?

because Jeeps are the dogs of cars they can be hard headed and fight you all the way
but can settle down and obey commands like the best trained hunting dog with a bit of effort on our part.
much better than any Subaru which is the cat of cars imho they all think they are true sure footed creatures but can't even go thru a mud puddle like a jeep can or take a walk in the woods in the rocks.

p.s. ever see a jeep cat?

Beer? Mountain biking? It's the personalty, not the vessel. That's why I'm selling the BMW Z3, never drive it. It's a blast, and I can run up the mountain at 80+ in a 40 (my kid slipped up one night and told my he had it up to 130). Some things are for some people, others are for, well, others.
Take grumpy grills for example...esp neon green ones.

It's my erector set AKA Mechanical Inclined side of me and probably all of use.

How many TJs are to many?? For example i find myself searching the internet in attempt to collect/buy another TJ, however, my significant other brings me back down with a casual look of "Do you really need another TJ"

Somewhere my desire for a Jeep again turned into some things that needed fixed/improved, so I could enjoy it, and somehow that turned into tooling up and finding things to fix/improve because I enjoy that a lot now , to the point I feel lost if I don't have a nut to tighten or something.

That's turned into driving a state over to @Hog so I can fix or tear something up on his, after he gives me ideas all day on how to spend more money on mine. Now we have Nick's....and @Hog got an LJ for his wife.....

It's out of control, and I love it.
