Hard top starting to turn grey

Hey all you Jeep lovers! I was wondering if anyone had any advice on a cleaner to get my hardtop back to the black it once was. I don’t really want to paint it yet.

Pentrol does work well as a restorative but it’s not a permanent solution and you’ll need to make sure it applied evenly and buffed to avoid blotches and streaks. I’ve used it in my fender flares and also my bumpers and it has an appearance similar to a protectant, like 303. The problem is that water pressure from the car wash can remove it in areas so it won’t remain even.

You can use it but plan to reapply every year or two. I just buy 303 by the gallon now. It looks great and also provides uv protection.

Thanks for all the help y’all! I’m gonna get something to clean it up today and maybe take some before and after pictures if you’re interested. Here soon she’ll have a Gobi roof rack on her. Then I’ll be saving up for a Currie lift kit. Chris, I’ve read the other threads and I’d like to pick your brain about that one day when the time comes near.
