I’m at stock height and was hoping the below wheels with will fit with 245/75/16 tires and no modifications.

Pro Comp#: PXA7069-6865

• Wheel Diameter:16 Inches
• Wheel Width:8 Inches
• Bolt Pattern:5 on 4.5
• Offset:-12
• Backspacing:4

Having said that there are still many good 15 inch tires out there.
Plus if you ever think you might modify your Jeep...or go bigger tire..

Consider a 15x8 with 3.75 BS

That puts you a tad beyond the flare but not ignorantly so

15x8 with 4" of backspacing works perfectly for my 35x12.50 tires. I've had 3.75" but prefer a bit more to keep the tires tucked in as much as possible.

I’m used to the 17” wheels on my previous JK’s and think I might prefer a 16” wheel over a 15” wheel.

Not many do. It's a less common/popular size so there's way less of a good selection of 16" tires and wheels than 15" or 17". 16" are usually more expensive too.

Here is the 16x8" polished version of the same "69 Series" Pro Comp wheel. Although this particular wheel has the 5x5.5" lug pattern to accommodate the manual hubs, it is available with the stock TJ 5x4.5 lug pattern, P/N 1069-6865.

MSRP is $121. I paid $96 in 2018.

Very nice! I appreciate the picture and everyone's help! I just ordered the 16x8 in matte black for $77.26 per wheel. They're being mounted on Toyo Open Country AT3 in 245/75/16.

I'm having a problem with tires on backorder. Wouldn't these tires fit? The Walmart site says they do not. I contacted Pirelli and they would only confirm that these have an E load rating.

No clue, I can't come up with a justification. My Walker Evans 15x8 bead locks have 4" which is great. At one point, before I knew better, I had wheels with 3.25" of BS and I swore to never do that again.

I think Matt may have cross-posted, but while you're here @Jerry Bransford would you mind checking the link I provided above? It looks like a great deal on these tires (if you like Pirelli Scorpion AT's) and I want to make sure I'm not looking at this wrong.

Stores like Walmart often say something won't fit because it may be slightly different from the standard factory size. That tire however would fit without problem. But I personally wouldn't want to run a tire on my TJ with an E load rating, it'd ride a lot more stiffly and you'd have to air WAY down on the trail to get it to grip the terrain as well as the standard C load rating does.

That your wheel size is a 16" makes choosing tires a bit more difficult, 16" tires and wheels are not as popular as 15" or 17" so there's not as big of a selection for the 16" size.

I once purchased a Jeep ZJ equipped with Pirelli Scorpions. They are an AT tire, not an offroad tire. I would not use them on an LJ, even a 90% pavement LJ.

Which model # Raceline?
Wheel width?
What lug pattern?
What center bore?

The Pirelli Scorpions are primarily a street tire with an all terrain tread. It is not a bad tire within its design parameters - a three season all purpose tire, but it is not constructed to stand up to off road abuse.

I have nothing against AT tires. To the contrary, I currently run BFG All Terrain T/A KO2 on my 4WD Sprinter, Cooper Discoverer AT3 LTs on my Xterra (which replaced a set of Cooper ST/Maxx), and have Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ P3s on my LJ.
