Anyone have experience with the Lock-N-Lube grease coupler?

I hate greasing and wondering if this coupler is worth the purchase if anyone has experience with it or if it’s a gimmick.

I use one... It doesn't prevent grease from getting on everything all the time, but makes it cleaner most of the time.

What I do like is with my old manual pump gun I could clip this on a zerk and then use two hands to pump the gun. Now I have the M12 grease gun and I don't worry about that at all, nor did I transfer this tip over to the Milwaukee unit.

I like the Milwaukee M12 grease gun and I just got my dad the Ryobi, because he doesn't have the Milwaukee stuff.

I still use the lock n lube on all my grease guns, because some ends will rip out zerk fittings and it just seems to do a better job. Most of the time I use a needle on the end to get to all my zerk fittings and the needle is messy, but has better access and just pulling the trigger is awesome and gets much more grease into my equipment, because it's so easy.

I use the Milwaukee 2446-20 it can be had in bare tool for around $110... but, we are all Milwaukee in our rechargeable throughout the farm. I would assume Ryobi has something similar but I have not looked.

Thanks. I have all ryobi stuff so I’ll look into that.

Now for awhile I could get the M12 grease gun and batteries cheaper than the Ryobi bare tool, but that's changed. I picked up my gun for like $80 refurbished and was going to get the same kit for my dad plus a $50 kit with 2 Milwaukee batteries and charger, all Genuine Milwaukee, but when I couldn't find that setup, I just got him the Ryobi, for like $120.

I use the lock n lube with a Lincoln hand pump the only problem I have run into is on some u-joints the lock adapter is to big but works great 99% of time
