I have a pair of 2003 Black Leather Driver and Passenger Mini Cooper Seats which are a perfect seat swap in a TJ. I have pictures and a how to video on how to swap the seats into the Jeep. These seats are firm and have better positions and flexibility over the stock TJ seats. Reason why I'm selling them is I got another grey set of seats which match better in my grey interior.
These seats sit on top of the stock Jeep rails. So you don't lose the function of forward/ reverse slider and quick lever tilt.
Pros
What you get is a leather seats with a headrest.
1. Leather seats which are easier to clean over the cloths seats.
2. I find that bucket seats with a head rest is easier to find seat covers with more variety.
3. The seat also has a function which allows you to raise and lower both seats.
You can raise your seat up to 2.5 inches. Help you look over the hood line. Great for shortie!
4. Both seat backing have seat pocket for storage.
Cons:
Driver seat has wear and tear. Minor leather wear and small hole only in the driver side. Check in photo.
So if someone is short and you need a booster these seats would help. I'm 5'10 and noticed this function helps me find the sweet spot so I can feel more comfortable.
I'm only selling the seats local for pick up.
You're welcome to try out my set of seats in my Jeep if you like the feel before purchasing. You can make a better decision before the committment. I like them better and I think you will like them too.
Asking $110.
For another $60 I'll install them and make the brackets needed for installation.
