What are the best lockers for a 2004 TJ?

Definitely not I... but one of three local mechanics with off-road experience. If you have any contacts in Bend, OR... pls let me know.
I wish I did, but I believe our great forum administrator @Chris used to live in or very near Bend, OR. He may be able to recommend a good mechanic to do your regear.

Unfortunately I was about 3 hours away from Bend so I don’t know anyone in that area.

Does anyone have any feedback on Hired Gun Offroad? Seemingly, they have the Revolutions G&A axles and 4.56 gears I'm after...

I would suggest airing down first, see how that goes. Just air down to 10-12 psi to start. It might be a bit of a PITA, but see how it gets you through the snow. If you need more, get a front lunchbox locker. I use the PowerTrax No Slip. It costs $400, which is more than the typical luncbox lockers, but it doesn't click when turning, it's completely invisible until you put it in 4H or 4L.
Im looking for input on lockers for mine. I already have gears im looking to install soon. What do you suggest for mild TN offroad. just Front or just back or front and back or what? I have a 2002 4.0 auto on 4.5" Rubicon Express lift and 35's. And I know I know Dana 30/35 are not that great I will upgrade them one day when I find the right deal but for now im goin to stick gears in them.

Is this the one you have?

That’s not the PowerTrax No Slip. It’s this one.
https://www.powertrax.com/traction-...2700/?crt_viaSearch=path:part%3Alock-assemblyIf you just want mild off-road, you’ll be plenty capable with this locker up front, and you can DIY, or just have the shop doing the gears put it in. It would be so easy for them. Doesn’t even replace the carrier, just the spider gears.

Appreciate that! What should I do in the rear?
If you’re just doing mild off-road, I don’t think you need anything else. If you just want to do something, a selectable Eaton e-locker. You’ll be very capable. Pretty much unstoppable.

With a 35 rear the only real option is a S35 kit
Is it worth spending that kinda money on? Most people I see are bashing Dana 35's. So where im at now is I thought about just getting a locker say like PowerTrax like JMT mentioned and some better axles until I find a better rear end. Or should I get a s35 kit and build this one?
